  We were to build a home with Henry Company Homes and were told we would not have to put down more than our earnest monies, then we were waiting to close on our lot. Finally, we went to the design center and picked out all of our "upgrades" they decided we need to put half down on certain items. Well, okay that is fine, but then once we made that deposit, in which was non-refundable and the house full appraises they said they do not have to give us that non-refundable deposit back. Does not go to our mortgage, does not go anywhere towards that house, they just keep it if they want. That is super unethical. Never will we buy or build a Henry Home.
